    • Buy an hourly ticket using contactless card payment on the bus by holding your bank card up to one of the on-board validators. Be careful to avoid unintentional contactless payments while standing near the validator!
    • You can also buy an hourly ticket from the bus driver (2 €, note that the ticket price is a bit more expensive then), please use cash in that case.

TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT

The easiest and cheapest way to get to and from the Tartu Airport is to use the services of the Airport Shuttle: https://tartu.ee/en/airport-shuttle. See also the Tartu Airport webpage.

In Tallinn and Riga, most of the buses also stop at the airport in addition to the central bus station stop. You can book bus tickets on the LuxExpress webpage or download their mobile app.

WIRELESS NETWORKS

In order to connect to Wi-Fi, please use the UT-public or Eduroam networks.

PHOTOCOPYING/PRINTING

You can print your materials at Tartu Ülikooli Kirjastus/University of Tartu Press (Lossi 3) that is located next to the main venue Jakobi 2. You can also print posters there, the price depends on the size and design of your poster. You can pay by card or in cash.

You can also print at Koopiatehas (Ülikooli 10).

BANKS AND SHOPS (opening hours)

Banks are usually open until 5 p.m. You can find ATMs around the Town Hall square. Most supermarkets are open until 10 p.m. Please note that Wednesday, August 20th is Estonian Restoration of Independence Day, thus a public holiday in Estonia. The supermarkets and most of the restaurants are still open that day, while some services might be closed.
