The University of Tartu Archives of Estonian Dialects and Kindred Languages (AEDKL) is a collection of linguistic materials managed by the University of Tartu, Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics. The archives contain sound recordings of Estonian dialects and Finno-Ugric languages, unpublished manuscripts, including student report papers and thesis written at the Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics, transcriptions and written notes on Estonian and Finno-Ugric languages, photos and video recordings from field-work expeditions and linguistic events. The introduction will be held by the AEDKL administrator Tuuli Tuisk, who will give an overview of the history of the archives and introduce the web archive. After that, we will take a closer look at the archive rooms.
